Fourth place went to a mother and daughter team hosted by Little Bear Day Care—Valerie Hurley and her 10-year-old daughter Mina.
Fifth place was a tie between the scores team (Jessica Yost and Meredith Sheposh) and the Tropical Illusions Team (Bre Dibacco and Matt Rodinsky). You’ll notice, Bre didn’t even have shoes on!
Sixth place went to Cindy Law and Kim Harless, a team sponsored by the Brooke County Public Library. These sisters also competed in last year’s race.
Kevin Fiber and Matt Janelle came in 7th, with family waiting to greet them.
Eighth Place went to friends Alicia Myers and Charlene Smith.
Friends Amy Brown and Barbara Fritz came in 9th.
Father and son team Timothy and Tim Taylor make their run in for 10th place.
The final team to cross the finish line were Frank Traugh and Dan Forester, the Ye Olde Renovator’s team, pictured here as Frank films Dan giving him the key he found at the bottom of BHP’s pool. They entered the cookout to a round of applause at 6 p.m. and received a $25 gift certificate each to Drover’s Inn from Little Bear Day Care as a consolation prize. The Mark’s Carry Out team of Cleo Klages and Lisa Black and the Stephen A. Marino CPA team of Taundra Moran and Rhonnie Besonday were both eliminated as the last teams to enter set pit stops in town and did not complete all set tasks.
